The Institute of the Americas, the Observatory of Changes in Latin America, located in Paris, the International Network Europe Latin America Caribbean "Territory(s), Vulnerable Populations and Public Policy" of Limoges University, the Autonomous University of Sinaloa and the Municipality of Ciudad Juárez, are calling for participation in the World Forum "Agro-cities and Climate Change: present and future" to be held on 26,27,28 August 2015 at the Centre cultural Paso del Norte de Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua Mexico.

The overall objective is to prepare the first World Forum "Agro-cities and climate change" in the context of the World Summit on Global Warming to be held in Paris in December 2015. The May 2015 forum will aim research viable solutions to the problems facing our planet today.

An interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary practices Interaction between the scientific community, the corporate sector, civil society and federal and local governments will consider and plan for sustainable public policies in a joint will to solve problems precariousness and vulnerability of the environment and population in the context of climate change.

From entrepreneurial logic, financial, industrial, agricultural, social, educational, ... knowledge, relevant solutions and strategies for the development of territories and populations related to agro-towns will be implemented.

The Forum is open to local and regional governments, researchers, business leaders, mayors, politicians, experts on the theme, leaders and members of indigenous peoples of the Americas, Africa and Europe. Each participant will fund its stay in Mexico during the Forum.
